New Year, New News! 05/01/2025

Hey there - happy 2025! I know we're hearing a lot about America at the moment, but I've got a bit extra to tell you about. On 2nd Feb I'll be flying across the pond to meet, stay, and learn from some farriers there! This amazing opportunity is through the British Farriers and Blacksmiths Association (BFBA) in partnership with the American Farriers Association (AFA) as part of the Edward Martin Cultural Exchange. The exchange gives newly qualified farriers, like myself, the opportunity to learn more about farriery, improve our skills, make connections and meet some of America's highly regarded farriers. I'll be flying into Boston, Massachusetts to start my trip - and on from there! Over my three months in America I'll be posting regular updates of what I'm up to, including the people, skills and amazing sights I'll be encountering. So, follow along as I experience what America's got for me as I learn more about my profession!
