Hi there, my name's Kathleen and I own Faye's Farrier Services! I was first interested in farriery back in 2015 when I learnt about it at pony club. A few years later I went to Hereford and Ludlow college to take the pre farrier course before getting an apprenticeship with Stewart Gammage in Buckinghamshire. Throughout my course I would go back to Hereford on block placement before taking my exams in March 2024 and finding out I'd qualified in June the same year.
Since qualifying I've been given the wonderful opportunity to travel to America and learn more about farriery there! In my free time I'm a bit of a nerd so travel to comic con's to meet up with a lot of my friends.
Overall I'm excited to start my new business and continue my personal development using my skills for a profession I love.
